01 / Our approach
Know who you’re talking to.
Know where you stand.
Behind every policy is a person, a property or a business. That’s where we start.
At Pentagon, you speak directly with Jonathan or Hugh. We want to understand your business and stay part of the conversation throughout the year, whenever your circumstances or policies need attention.
Speak with Jonathan or HughWe started Pentagon because we believe service should continue long after a policy is placed. You deal directly with our directors, Jonathan and Hugh, building a relationship with people who know your circumstances and can pick up the conversation when something changes.
We bring the quotes and policy details together and explain differences in cover, excesses and conditions alongside the premium, so you can ask informed questions before deciding how to proceed.
02 / Working together
We ask about your circumstances and gather the information insurers need. This may include proposal forms and supporting documents, which help us prepare a submission for quotes.
We provide a summary comparison of quotes obtained and discuss cover, excesses, conditions, endorsements and premiums. Once you instruct us to proceed, we confirm placement with the insurer and provide your invoice, certificate of currency and relevant product disclosure statements.
Tell us when your circumstances change. At renewal, we assess changes in your needs, seek quotes and prepare a comparison for discussion. We also help with policy changes during the year. If you need to claim, we can assist with the process and keep you informed of the insurer’s response.
Need help with a claim?
Contact us when you need to make a claim. We can help you lodge it, work through requests for information and keep you informed of the insurer’s response. Have your policy details and a brief description of what happened ready if available.
